Jesse F. Prado, Sr., 59, of Rock Falls, IL, a pilot hoist operator, was called home Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Lacy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Henry Cortez officiating. Burial will be at Allard Cemetery, Stephenville, TX. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Jesse was born on April 11, 1950, to George and Jane (Franco) Prado in Tulia, TX. He married Mary E. Moreno on July 27, 1969, in Defiance, OH.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Prado of Rock Falls, IL; 2 sons, Jessie Prado, Jr., of Sterling, IL, and Albert Prado of Texas; his father, George Prado of Weatherford, TX; 7 grandchildren, Angel R., Alexandra, Arianna, Avrie, Denaya, Tori and Dustin Prado; 1 great-granddaughter, Jordyn Prado; 2 sisters, Mary Jane Ferrazas and husband, Martin, of Stephenville, TX, and Rachal Caballero and husband, Terodoro, of Weatherford, TX; and 4 brothers, Fred Prado of Dublin, TX, David Prado of Weatherford, TX, Ruben Prado and wife, Brenda, of Ballson Grove, NC, and Tony Prado and wife, Naomi, of Stephenville, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Prado; a daughter, Esther Prado in infancy; a grandson, Justin D. Prado in infancy; and 3 brothers, Richard, Joe Angel, and Jimmy Prado.
