Dorothy Jean Parker, 74, of Stephenville, TX, a homemaker, passed away, Monday, May 3, 2010, at a Ft Worth hospital. Services will be 10 A.M., Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kyle Davis and Rev. Richmond Goolsby officiating. Burial will be 2:30 P.M., at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in Goldthwaite, TX. Visitation is set for 7 to 9 P.M., Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born on May 6, 1935, to the late Aubrey Milton and Lois Beatrice (Booker) Cline in Goldthwaite, Texas. She married Harvey G. Parker on June 6, 1954, in Goldthwaite.

Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Cline, in 2008.

She was a member of Harvey Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband, Harvey Parker of Stephenville, TX; daughter Kerri Weathers and husband, Carey, of Ft Worth, TX; son Kennon Parker and wife, Terry, of West Linn, Oregon; brothers, Ronnie Cline and wife, La Dora, of Goldthwaite, TX, and Coy Cline and wife, Jane, of Lake Victor, TX; sister-in-law, Shirley Cline of Brownwood, TX; grandchildren, Hailey Parker of West Linn, Oregon, and Tayler Weathers of Ft Worth, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

I will always remember Dorothy as such a friendly and sweet person. I visited with her many times at the Lumber yard, related functions, and always enjoyed our visits together. My condolences to all of her family, I know from the way she talked about you that she loved you very much and was really proud of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and I know God will be close to you in your grief.
