Services for Adelita Sanchez, 51, a manufacturing shipping and packing handler with Appleton Electric, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. 

Adelita was born in Haskell, Texas, on November 11, 1965, to Bertha and Jesse Acuña. She married Frank Sanchez, Jr., on July 31, 1985, in Stephenville, Texas. She was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal faith. For many years, she worked in the packing, receiving, and assembling departments at Appleton Electric in Stephenville. Some of her favorite hobbies included shopping, listening to Christian music, and listening to her son, Johnny, perform in his band. 

Survivors include her husband, Frank Sanchez, Jr. of Stephenville; parents, Jesse and Bertha Acuña of Stephenville; children, Frankie Sanchez, III, and wife, Jessica, of Stephenville, and Johnny Sanchez and wife, Erika, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Ezra Sanchez, Jaden Sanchez, Sierra Sanchez, and Makayli; sisters, Virginia Acuña, Isabel Acuña, Diane Torres, Janie Azua, Carmen Acuña, and Rosalinda Duran; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
