Barbara Waugh Lyon,

 May 23, 1933 – August 11, 2017

Stephenville - Services for Barbara Waugh Lyon, 84, teacher, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017, at First Baptist Church Stephenville with Rev. Ken May officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Barbara was born in Beckley, West Virginia on May 23, 1933 to Oscar C. Waugh and Florence Nethken. She married Robert E. Lyon on December 29, 1959, in Beckley, West Virginia.

Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Lyon; children, Donald E. Lyon and wife, Janet of Hanwell, New Brunswick, Canada, Cindy Lyon of Stephenville, TX, Tim D. Lyon and wife, Debbie A. of Hico, TX; six grandchildren, Jeremy Lyon, Adam Lyon, Meigan Lyon, Tiffany Lyon, Chance Lyon, and Joey Lyon; one great grandchild, Kyson White.
