Services for Damon L. “Doc” Smith, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home with Rev. James Watson and Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Victor Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Damon was born in Munday, Texas on April 2, 1928 to Charlie Roy and Maude (Watson) Smith.  He married Willa Mae (Wood) Smith on May 26, 1951, in Aztec, New Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Willa Mae Smith of Stephenville, Texas; children, Terry Lynn Smith and wife, Cyndi of Casper, Wyoming, and Judy Ann Smith of Stephenville, Texas; two grandsons, Richard Smith of Sheridan, Wyoming, and David Smith of Cheyne, Wyoming; sister, Nell Baty and husband, Ben of Stephenville, Texas; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
