Services for Darlene Mae Erickson, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Darlene was born in Waterloo, Iowa on August 29, 1928 to Leonard F. and Dena (Wilken) Hutchison. She married Worrell Ferdinand Erickson on March 1, 1947, in Harmony, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2017.
Survivors include her children, Christine Poen and husband, Guy, of Stephenville, TX, Stephanie Sharp of Stephenville, TX, and Steven Erickson and wife, Christina, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Angie Brown and husband, Darrell, Jon Poen and wife, Deanna, Dena Davis and husband, Clint, Lindsey Sharp, Chesley Tyler and husband, Ryan, and Valerie Erickson and partner, Steve Illich; sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
