Services for Dee David (Pee Berry) White, 93, retired AG teacher, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Carlton Baptist Church with Rev. David Keith officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard, Texas, with military honors. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Dee was born in Melvin, Texas, on February 18, 1924, to Henry and Bessie (Bishop) White. He married Dorothy Madeline Chapman on May 21, 1949, in Fort Hancock, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 8, 2005.

He was a member of Carlton Baptist Church, a 32nd Degree Mason, a recipient of the Golden Trowel Award, and a WWII Navy veteran.

Survivors include his children, David Glenn White and wife, Connie, of Stephenville, Texas, and Cynthia Lewis of Mineral Wells, Texas; five grandchildren, Quaide Williams of Germany, Micki Stary and husband, Joel, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Dylan Masells of Colorado, Shayla Erickson and husband, Curtis, of Lubbock, Texas, and Shawndi Benton and husband, Trevor, of Stephenville, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren, Rob Blowers, Tristan Stary, Caleb Erickson, Landree Erickson, Janno Williams, Braylon Benton, Parker Erickson, Marlon Williams, and Berkley Benton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters.
