Stephenville - Doris Britsch, 86, passed away in Stephenville on March 12, 2017. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of Lacy Funeral Home. At this time, no services have been set.

Doris was born in Cuero, Texas on November 22, 1930 to Blanche and F.C. Schaefer. She married Clinton H. Britsch on November 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2016.

Survivors include her two children, Gerald and wife, Bobbye of Georgetown, Texas and Bobbie L. Carter and husband, Joe of Rising Star, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Henry Schaefer of the Houston, Texas area.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Carl Schaefer.
