Funeral services for Edward Allen Breeding, Jr., 86, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor C. Edward Jones officiating. Burial will be at West End Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Edward was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 19, 1931, to Edward Allen Breeding, Sr., and Jessie May (Smith) Breeding.  He married Pat (Redmond) Breeding on November 23, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Edward graduated from R.L. Paschal High School and Texas Christian University. He served in the Unites States Navy.

Edward was a teacher for fourteen years and a diagnostician for three years. He moved to Stephenville to start the special education program, where he served as the director from 1973-1987. After retiring, he became the teacher at Summer Sky from 1990-2006.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Breeding of Stephenville, TX; son, Edward A. Breeding, III, of Stephenville, TX; and granddaughter, Zoe Breeding of Stephenville, TX.
