So very sorry to hear about the passing of such a good and kind man. He was such a good friend to my family Harold and Theresa Donaldson of Stephenville. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Garland was one very special person,a good Worthy Brother, and a good friend. My thought's and prayers go out to his family and many friends during this time of grief and sorrow. I will miss seeing his friendly and smiling face at the Fort Worth Scottish Rite meetings. Philippians 1:21- For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. RIP Worthy Brother, and Godspeed. John R. Debbie
I know the loss you are going through now. When my husband George died, your mother came to the hospital and then to the funeral service. She was one of my rocks that helped me through that hard time. Love is all we have on earth that really matters, and I am praying for you during this time. Please take care of yourself, and know that you are loved by many.

We are missing a good friend and Brother. He was also a great neighbor even though we live a couple of miles apart. I will always remember Garland's smile and his willingness to help anyone that asked.

Garland was one of the first persons I met here in Stephenville. He was also the man responsible for my admittance into freemasonry. Every time I saw him, he always shook my hand and had words of encouragement. I did not know him long but I considered him a friend, I will miss him.

Garland was among the best men I've ever known - a spitting image of his dad! He was a family man and a great friend. He will be sorely missed.

It has truly been a Blessing to have known Garland, I have received the value of his council on several occasions and his word is true and just in all times. He made time when time was little the impact on my life is not to be measured, however, the loss to his Family is tremendous but rich in memory and sorely missed I'm sure. Garland was not a vain or arrogant man by any means, and I am in deed sure of his walk with our Lord and Master for the word's , enlightened knowledge of Truth he shared with me in Council it was Divinely inspired it had to be no one speaks that way unless there is the authority of truth and witness of the word , and what I needed at the time not to mention his gift of Teaching. We can honor him by speaking of his many qualities which I will miss . With Regards and Blessings abound to the Family, Rick Aldredge... ..... .......A humble servant

Our families went to church together when we were children. We met up again when he came to my house on a service call. A finer family was never born. I know he will be missed, Prayers for the family,

Garland was a good friend since I moved to Stephenville. Even though I can not make it to the service I will be there in spirit. He will be missed....

This quote has always lifted me up on those dark times....

"God didn't promise days with out pain,
laughter without sorrow, sun without rain,
but He did promise strength for the day,
comfort for the tears, and light for the way."

God bless
