Genevieve Marie (Jennie) Kendall

Services for Genevieve Marie (Jennie) Kendall, 74, retired from Justin Boot Company, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Burial will be at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018, with Lewis Warren officiating. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Genevieve (Jennie) was born in Dickinson North Dakota, on October 25, 1943, to John J. and Katherine Wanner. She married Darrell A. Kendall on May 2, 1963.

Jennie was an active member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church and a devout Catholic. She was on an eternal quest of strengthening her relationship with her Lord and Savior.

Jennie worked for Justin Boot Company for many years and retired from that company in 2009.

Aside from actively seeking a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, her other passion was gardening. Her goal was to a have a garden as productive and beautiful as her mother’s.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell A. Kendall of Stephenville, Texas; her son, John Kendall and wife, Carolyn, of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren, Chase Reeves and wife, Nicole, of Aledo, Texas, Spencer Reeves of Grandview, Texas, and Tanner Kendall of San Marcos, Texas; and siblings, Kathleen Goelzer and husband, Ted, of Gladstone, North Dakota, Alvin Wanner and wife, Bernice, of Dickinson, North Dakota, John Wanner and wife, Peggy, of Dickinson, North Dakota, Marilyn Wanner and husband, Peter van Eck, of Idaho, and David Wanner and wife, Nancy, of Dickinson, North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents.
