Services for Jewell Dean Reed, 85, homemaker, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lowell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Jewell was born in Taloga, Oklahoma, on June 10, 1932, to Ira T. and Margaret Ann (Ward) Woods. She married Edward D. Reed on September 1, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Edward D. Reed of Stephenville, Texas; daughters, Janice Reed of Stephenville, Texas, and Patricia Ann Reed of Stephenville, Texas; son-in-law, Roy Rainbow Carrion of Anadarko, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Emily Sunshine Carrion of Lawton, Oklahoma, Martha Ricarda Carrion of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Matthew Rainbow Carrion of Anadarko, Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, Isabella Reed Carrion of Anadarko, Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews including Barbara Blanchard Hooper, Beverly Blanchard Asher, Elaine Woods Miller, and Charisse Woods Childers. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Reed, Carolyn Sue Reed, and Martha D. Reed.
