Services for Joe Kennedy, sixty-three, mechanic, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Joe was born in Brownwood, Texas on June 29, 1954 to Jess and Dalphine (Elliott) Kennedy. He married Patricia K. (Mast) Kennedy on July 28, 1978, in Glen Rose, Texas.

Joe served in the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Kennedy of Stephenville, Texas; three children, Carisha Kennedy Merchen and husband, Donald of Bangs, Texas, Michael Ables and wife, Kelly of Stephenville, Texas, and Suzanne Foreman and husband, Danny of Grand Prairie, Texas; twelve grandchildren; and six siblings, Brenda Kennedy of Stephenville, Texas, Jess Junior Kennedy of Comanche, Texas, Dean Kennedy of Buda, Texas, Meria Moody of Santa Anna, Texas, Kirby Stephens of Stephenville, Texas, and Brian Stephens of Louisiana.

Memorials may be made to Oak Dale United Methodist Church .
