John Dickison,

 Dec. 29, 1967 – Feb. 15, 2017

Gordon- Services for John Dickison, 49, a Minister for Gordon Church of Christ, will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Hillcrest Church of Christ in Stephenville with Tom Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Chapel Cemetery in Gordon. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

John was born in Bunker Hill, Indiana on December 29, 1967 to Jairrett and Linda Blackwell Dickison. He served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1990, and was a Veteran of the Operation Desert Storm.  John also served as a Minister of Gordon Church of Christ.

Survivors include his parents, Jairrett and Linda Dickison of Emmett, Idaho; five children, Lauren Stockstill and husband Jonathan, Brandon Dickison, Canaan Dickison, Kristen Dickison, Kemplin Dickison, all of Gordon; brothers, Jim Dickison and wife Michelle of Texarkana; Jack Dickison and wife Machera of Arab, Alabama; and Michael Dickison and wife Tammie of Tom Bean, Texas.
