Services for Maria Inez Hernandez, 95, homemaker, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Saint Brendan's Catholic Church.

Maria was born in Rancho Maria Auxiliadora, Mexico, on April 4, 1922, to Norberto and Germana (Cervantes) Luna.  She married Manuel Hernandez in 1952 in San Felipe Guanajuato, Mexico. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2014.

Survivors include six children, Juan Hernandez and wife, Barbara, of Waco, Texas, Martin Hernandez and wife, Susan, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jose Hernandez of Stephenville, Texas, Gabino Hernandez and wife, Rosa Marta, of Ballinger, Texas, Francisco (Frank) Hernandez and wife, Sabrina, of Stephenville, Texas, and Julia Hernandez of Stephenville, Texas; and six grandchildren, Laura Hernandez, Anna Hernandez, Giovanni Hernandez, Olivia Hernandez, Gillian Hernandez, and Esmeralda Hernandez.
