Stephenville – Graveside services for Rayford Gerald Savage, 78, automotive mechanic, will be held at 10:00  a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at East Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ken May officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at Lacy Funeral Home.

Rayford was born in Bluff Dale, Texas on February 27, 1938 to Gerald and Opal Savage. He married Martha Yeates on October 28, 1961, in Stephenville, Texas.

Rayford was a member of First Baptist Church Stephenville.

He had a passion for gardening and even sold his own produce out of his auto mechanic shop. He also enjoyed fishing with his friends on the weekends and spending time with his children and grandchildren- he loved his family.  

Survivors include his wife, Martha Savage of Stephenville, TX; son, Ray Savage and wife, Donna of Granbury, TX; daughter, Karen Ferguson and husband, Kevin of Stephenville, TX; four grandchildren, Hailey Kaiser and husband, Dustin  of Venus, TX, Tyler Ferguson of Stephenville, TX, Rob Macchietto and wife, Monica of Fort Worth, TX, and Dan Macchietto and wife, Heather of Fort Worth, TX; two great grandchildren, Douglas Macchietto and John Macchietto; and brother, Hubert Savage Weatherford, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Opal Savage.
