Stephenville - Services for Robbie Lou Chapman,86, a retired seamstress and homemaker, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Aaron Matthews, James Matthews, and Dan Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Saturday prior the service, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Robbie was born in Raymondville, Texas to Robert and Ethel Haynie Wright on August 21, 1931. She married Harvey Chapman on July 3, 1949 in Stephenville. Robbie was a member of Erath County Cowboy Church. She worked for Russell Newman manufacturing in Denton for 38 years.

Robbie was preceded in death by her parents and her youngest sister, Barbara Greene

Survivors include her husband of 68 years Harvey Chapman of Stephenville; daughter, Carolyn Trussell and husband Charles of Denton; son, Harvey Neal Chapman of Stephenville; grandchildren, Aaron Matthews and his wife Shannon of Pea Ridge, AR, James Matthews and his wife Amy of Puyallup, WA, and Nicole Chapman of Atlanta, and six great grandchildren; siblings, Wonda Hawkins of Big Springs; R.D. Wright of Dickins, Texas, and Dan Wright of Waxahachie.                    

Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or the American Cancer Society.
