Robert (Bob) L. Shannon,

 December 2, 1946 – October 5, 2017

Stephenville – Memorial services for Robert (Bob) Lawrence Shannon, 70, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nic Burleson officiating. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Robert was born in Stephenville, TX on December 2, 1946 to Lloyd M. and Myrtle G (Hooks) Shannon.

Bob was a successful retired software engineer who enjoyed tracing his Stephenville roots. He traveled abroad and was an outstanding cook.  He was an avid collector of coins and fine art, but his most loved passion was fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Williams and husband, Lance of Stephenville, TX; four grandchildren, Carson Ingram, Madison Ingram, Gaby Williams, and Gavin Williams; siblings, Ronnie Shannon of Gun Barrel City, TX, Dianna Shannon of Arlington, TX, and Donnie Shannon of Arlington, TX; and one uncle, one aunt, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
