Vada Mae McFadden Blum Veazey, 97, died on Monday, June12, 2017.  Vada was born in Cranfills Gap, Texas on May 4, 1920, the daughter of Calvin and Ebbie Brasher McFadden. 

She is survived by two daughters, Carla Blum Light and Darla Blum Fent, both of Stephenville; four grandchildren, Brian Franks of Monahans, Holly Franks Jordan and husband Ken Jordan of Gatesville, Marcella Lowe of Stephenville, and Cheryl Light Kane and husband Craig Kane of Denver, Colorado; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl Buster (Buck) Blum and Will Veazey.
