Violet Francis Bittenbinder, 95, was cremated and memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Father Matthew officiating .

Violet was born in Halliday, North Dakota, on July 26, 1922, to Peter and Elizabeth (Miller) Hatzenbuhler. She married Carl Michael Bittenbinder on June 9, 1941, in Dickinson, North Dakota. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2016.

She was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her five children, David Bittenbinder and wife, Shirley, of Stephenville, TX, Dennis Bittenbinder and wife, Carol, of Fayetteville, AR, Sandy Jacobs of Grand Island, NE, Carla Luptak and husband, Dennis, of Lancaster, CA, and Sheila Hinnant and husband, David, of Tulsa, OK; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and son, Keith Bittenbinder.
