Services for Worrell Ferdinand Erickson, 89, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Worrell was born in Harmony, Minnesota, on December 3, 1927, to Walter and Florence Erickson.  He married Darlene (Hutchison) Erickson on March 1, 1947, in Harmony, Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Erickson; children, Christine Poen and husband, Guy, of Stephenville, TX, Stephanie Sharp of Stephenville, TX, and Steven Erickson and wife, Christina, of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Angie Brown and husband, Darrell, Jon Poen and wife, Deanna, Dena Davis and husband, Clint, Lindsey Sharp, Chesley Tyler and husband, Ryan, and Valerie Erickson and partner, Steve Illich; sisters, Fraulene Neitzke of Littleton, CO, and Janora Tittel of Colorado Springs, CO; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Erath County Humane Society.
