Billiejo Ellen Cooley,

 March 1, 1947 – November 21,2017

Stephenville - Services for Billiejo Ellen Cooley, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J.A. McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. in Brownwood, Texas at Green Leaf Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Billiejo was born in Early, Texas on March 1, 1947 to L.B. and Ada Lawrence.  She married Billy Blue Cooley on March 19, 1966. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2016.

She retired from Brownwood ISD in 2004 after 23 years of service. She had a passion and love of education for the special needs.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville, Texas. She was also a member of the friendship class at First Baptist, as well as the sign class, and both held a special place in her heart. She was a faithful servant of God and she loved well.

Survvors include her children Lena Nunley and husband James of Springtown, Texas; Michael Cooley and wife Heather of Keller, Texas; Tena Kirk and husband Spencer of Stephenville, Texas; Nicholas Cooley and wife Jennifer of Stephenville, Texas; Jeffrey Cooley of Stephenville, Texas. Grandchildren Nicholas Nyle Cooley, Jordan Cooley and Crystal Guardiola, Dustin Edmiston, Zachary Cooley, Logan Kirk, Luke Kirk, Kameron Cooley, Ellen Cooley, Karleigh Cooley, Elizabeth Cooley, and Emily Cooley. Great grandchild Caden Rey Cooley. Brothers Bennie Lawrence, Bill Lawrence and Buster Lawrence and many nieces, nephews, and cousins
