On behalf of Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 I express our deepest condolences. We were honored to provide Military Funeral services and to share the Flag presentation with grandson, who was magnificently attired in his Marine Corp Dress uniform.

The Flag was presented on behalf of the President, The United States Marine Corp and a grateful Nation for your loved ones honorable and faithful service.

Charles has reported to Post Everlasting where he stands before the Commander of all Creation. R.I.P. SIR AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you find comfort in knowing that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including death (Revelation 21:3,4). May you find peace in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about them and bring them back again (Job 14:13,15). May these words from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and strong hope for the future. Deepest sympathy.

Charlie was one of the most amazing men we ever knew. He has been a role model to us for many years. His legendary sense of humor, his common sense, his love of family, and so many other qualities made him so special to us. He was a great engineer and guided us though many difficult situations. We will miss his expertise as an engineer but mostly we will miss the man we have loved and respected for many years. He will never ever be forgotten.
