Cody Keith

Cody passed away Thursday evening at home surrounded by his family. Services for Cody, 37, Chief Deputy for Erath County Sheriff’s Department will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 25, 2019, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County, with Captain Jeremy Woodruff, Brother Werth Mayes, and Brother Scott Pace, officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluff Dale, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Lacy Funeral Home.

 Cody was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 13, 1982, to Thomas Keith and Kimberly (Pack) Sykes. He married Belinda Blackwell on August 1, 2009 in Bluff Dale, Texas.

 Cody loved his family, serving his community, and his job. Cody was a huge supporter of Backpack Buddies of Erath County. Erath County Law Enforcement will be serving as pallbearers.

 Cody is survived by his wife, Belinda Keith; his children, Kennady Jewel Keith, and Levi Thomas Keith; mother, Kim (Pack) Sykes, of Stephenville, Texas; father, Tommy Keith, and wife, Charlotte, of Bluff Dale, Texas; siblings, Blake Keith, of Bluff Dale, Texas, Randy Fowler, of Hico, Texas, Misty Hoffman, of Hico, Texas, and Heather Fowler, of Brownwood,Texas; mother-in-law, Nanny Blackwell, of Bluff Dale, Texas; brother-in-law, Mark Blackwell, of Hamilton, Texas; all of his Brothers and Sisters in Blue; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
