David you will be missed..I appreciated everything you done for Bennie, your roomie at Mulberry. We had a a lot of talks about gardening. I think the one thing that stands out was your kindness to everyone and especially to Bennie. You told me not to buy him any more cheeto's because you wanted to share yours with him. So sweet..Rest in peace my friend.

To our dearest friend Darrell,
May the many memories of your sweet dad bring you comfort. He was a great man and raised one of our very best friends and for that we are thankful & blessed! May it help to know that we are surrounding you with love & lifting you up in continual prayer. Rest in peace, Mr. Peaton! We love you & will carry the memory of you in our hearts forever!

Mr. David Peaton was one of those residents that make our jobs such a pleasure. He was a joy to talk with and learn from. For some reason I almost felt he was immortal because we never wanted to think of him leaving, but he will be the sweetest gardener in heaven. I am plant sunflower seeds for you tomorrow.

O I will miss him.... he was always a bright spot at Mulberry Manor. His gardening was the envy of strong healthy people for sure and somehow his veggies tasted better than anyone in town, and his flowers were the biggest and brightest. He was always in Yoga class too!! Love , Sheryl Wells

On behalf of Turnbow-Higgs American Legion Post 240 I express our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Peaton. We were privileged to extend an American Legion membership, sponsored by Post 240, to Mr. Peaton which he proudly accepted. Our Post 240 veteran visitation team met with him many times the past five years and developed an extraordinary friendship, delivering items to help with the gardening and others to brighten his day. Our Dear Friend and fellow veteran, has now reported to post everlasting and now stands before the Commander of all Creation. We will miss him!. R.I.P SIR! AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! David, you made such an impact on my heart in just 8 months of working with you. I'm going to miss your wealth of knowledge, your gardening tips and most of all seeing you each morning and throughout the day. You will be missed, but there are millions of memories of you at Mulberry Manor. Fly high David and I can't wait to see you on the other side. Love you!
