What a hero Mr. White was to me as to many others he lead by example. As a small freshman for my size he taught me so much about life and brought so much joy for the many things he taught me to do. Even today thinking about him brings tears to my eyes. By far he was the best teacher I ever had. He taught me my Freshman and Sophomore years. I was fortunate enough to go to Yellowstone twice and be President of FAA my Sophomore year, all I owe to Mr. White. God Bless Mr. White forever.

PeeBerry was a great man. Charlie and I knew him through my sister and brother-in-law, David and Ann Shelton in Ft. Stockton. In 1977 we were visiting for Christmas. He brought his mule into town with antlers and a red nose. He was dressed in a Santa Suit. David and Ann Shelton had Bob and Ben and we had our three children. The five kids ranged in ages from 3 to 8 years. They had their best Christmas Eve! Santa rode Rudolph to their home and the kids were so excited. We have had family discussions over the past 40 years about Rudolph, mule, donkey, horse, or reindeer? It was so nice of him to treat our family to such a nice visit from Santa. He made a lot of memories and will be missed by a lot of friends. Jeannie Benson

I was so sorry to hear about Pberry passing. I was so honored to have done my student teaching under him . I learned more from him than about teaching and being part of a community. I sure missed seeing and visiting at all the stock shows. A fine man who led by exampl. He was very proud of his family. Our prayers are for you all and thanks so much for sharing him with us. Rest In Peace my friend.
