Elizabeth Helen Olfers, 95, of Morgan Mill formerly of Kingsland, died Saturday, December 8, 2018, at a local assisted living facility. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Saint Paul the Apostle Church, 201 Dalton Circle, Horseshoe Bay, Texas 78657, with Father Ruben Patiño officiating. A reception with family and friends will follow the service at 12 noon. Burial will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, Texas, at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home, Stephenville, Texas.
Elizabeth was born in D’Hanis, Texas, on December 31, 1922, to Henry and Clara (Ney) Franger. She married Harry A. Olfers on January 19, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2012.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Olfers) Stokes and husband, Kenneth, of Morgan Mill; son, Gary Olfers and wife, Sue, of Horseshoe Bay; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Saint Vincent De Paul Society Services.
