Frances Armstrong Obituary
Graveside Services for Frances Armstrong, 89, homemaker, will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Frances was born in Dublin, Texas, on January 17, 1930, to Huey Paul and Rafe (Ferris) Maxwell. She married Wayne E. Armstrong on January 14, 1947. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1998.
She has been a member of Highland Baptist Church since the early 1950’s.
Survivors include her son, Glen E. Armstrong and wife, Roxann; daughter-in-law, Louise Armstrong; brother-in-law, Bobby Ditmore; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Charles W. Armstrong, and her sister, Lucille Ditmore.
