James Douglas "Doug" Cargill

Services for James Douglas “Doug” Cargill, 48, who died on Friday, April 5, 2019, will be held at Two p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at Stephenville Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Jared Herbst officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Doug was born in Huntsville, Texas on August 19, 1970 to James Ray & Colleen (Ward) Cargill.  He married Summer Warren on June 5, 2014. Doug served in the U.S. Army. He was a nursing supervisor for the Emergency Department at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin. He was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his wife Summer Cargill; his parents James and Colleen Cargill of Bluff Dale; four children Brandon Cargill & wife Heather of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Cole Cargill, Nichlos Cargill, and Parker Ampelas of Bluff Dale; one grandchild Hunter Bradley Cargill of Alamogordo, New Mexico; as well as one brother David Cargill of Austin, Texas.
