A Graveside service for Joe Weldon Lively, age 94, Dairyman and Farmer, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Gardens of Memory in Stephenville, Tx with Glen Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on June 17, 2019. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Joe was born in Lampasas, Tx on February 16, 1925 to Oscar Thomas Lively and Virgie Bell Baker. He married Wilma Irene (Jennings) Lively on May 27, 1950, in Lampasas, Tx. She preceded him in death on June 3, 2016.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stephenville.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II.
Survivors include daughter Debra Davis and husband Glen of Fort Worth; son Terry Joe Lively of Stephenville; daughter Phyllis Stowe of Stephenville; six grandchildren Robby, Timothy, Sonya, Jason, Christopher and Megan; sister Jeraldine Myers of Taft, TX; 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
