Kendra Nicole Lewis

Our earthly angel, Kendra Nicole Lewis, 30, became our heavenly angel at 11:44 PM, Monday, November 25, 2019. She was born September 6, 1989 to Gina Alexander and Rufus Lewis, Jr. in Dublin,

Kendra is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rufus Manford Lewis And Mary Ruth Lewis, her father Rufus Lewis Jr., and her mother Gina Lea Alexander. She is survived by her sister, Amber Lewis and brother, Ryan Baugh. Also surviving is her grandparents, Betty and Raul Perez,  her step-mother, Lora Zimmerman, numerous aunts, uncles and cousin as well as her many dogs which included her best companion, Cholo.  Kendra is survived by many many loving and loyal friends. 

Kendra was raised in Desdemona, TX and a current resident of Stephenville, TX. She was a cherished employee for 10 years for Tarleton Dining Services of Sodexo and was recently promoted to Operations Manager III. Kendra loved her family and her job.  Kendra’s passion of her job was shown in the service she provided and she was adored by all that she served.   

Kendra loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with her friends and family.  She was always the life of any party she attended and we all have many memories of her that will stay with us for a lifetime.

A celebration of the beautiful life Kendra lived will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Blacks Family Cemetery, 15008 American Legion Memorial Hwy 281, Hico, Texas. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Kendra’s honor at First Financial Bank or the local Humane Society.
