Graveside Services for Kenneth D. Haley, 84, retired fire marshal and deputy sheriff, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 14, 2017, at Erath Gardens of Memory with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born in Stamford, Texas, on September 22, 1932, to Eldon and Dessie (Blair) Haley. He married Barbara Stone on March 28, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kenneth worked for the Stephenville Fire Department for 25 years, serving as Chief for many years and later as Fire Marshal. After retiring from the fire department, he served as an Erath County Deputy Sheriff for more than ten years. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was a member of the Stephenville Masonic Lodge #267.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Haley of Stephenville, Texas; his son Wayne Haley and wife, Jennifer, of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Haley and wife, Amanda, of Marble Falls, Texas, and Kenny Haley and wife, Kiley, of Stephenville, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Avery, Boston, and Kenna.
