Kevin Scott Vest

Services for Kevin Vest, 48, machine operator for St. Gobain Abrasives, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas with Rev. Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Kevin was born at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada to Harold Vest and Shirley (Smith) Runyon. He married Ginny Jones on August 20, 1994, in Stephenville, Texas.

 Kevin was a Baptist by faith, and a 1990 graduate of Stephenville High School.

 Kevin is survived by his wife, Ginny Vest; son, Tyler Vest, and girlfriend, Laney Riley; grandchild, Riggin Vest; father, Harold Vest, and wife, Darline; mom, Shirley (Smith) Runyon; siblings, Garrey Runyon, and wife, Christy, Shelly Vest, and companion, Nora Gonzalez, Heather Grimes, and husband, Bryan; brothers-in-law, Jeremy Jones, Michael Jones, Justin Jones and wife Tassi, Suzanne (Jones) Beverley, and husband Craig; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 Kevin was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Melva and Gene Vest; stepdad, Mickey Runyon and maternal grandfather, Delbert Smith.

 In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, and the American Heart Association.
