Linda Sue Mathews

Services for Linda Sue Mathews, 71, will be held at 2:00PM at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 11, 2019, with Dr. Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Downing Cemetery in DeLeon, Texas. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Linda was born in Gorman, Texas on August 1, 1947 to James Calvin Lewis and Myrna Rae (Maynard) Lewis.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Kiesha Kurko and husband, Paul, of Stephenville; daughter, Cindy Russell and husband, Gary, of Dublin; grandchildren, Crystal Parrish and husband, Ian, of Nacogdoches, and Cody Russell, and wife, Angela, of Waco; seven great-grandchildren; and nephew, Johnny Lewis of Stephenville.

She was preceded in death by a son, Garland Benjamin Mathews, Jr. and a daughter, Arlette Dequitta Mathews.
