Services for Pauline Beth Leonard, 86, retired nurse, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dick Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Pauline was born in Idalou, Texas, on April 30, 1931, to Witt and Johnye (Fowler) Hightower. She married Laverne Leonard on July 26, 1960. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1987.

She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church and graduated from Idalou High School in 1948.

Survivors include her children, Donnie Joiner and wife, Peg, of Shenandoah, Texas, Paula Aardal and husband, Gary, of Stephenville, Texas, and Tammy Huffman and husband, Danny, of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Colton Aardal and wife, Tina, of Stephenville, Texas, and Cody Huffman and wife, Gayle, of Stephenville, Texas; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; and a sister, Katherine Long of Stephenville, Texas. She was preceded in death by three grandsons, Bart Aardal, Josh Aardal, and Zack Huffman.
