Steve Dean Monson

 Memorial services for Stephen Dean Monson, sixty-eight, will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at SISD Bond Auditorium with Micah Schmidt & David Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held following the service. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Steve was born in Loma Linda, California on July 15, 1949 to Billie Dean Monson and wife, Sara Lenora (Moorehead).  He married Ronda (Parrish) Monson on May 22, 1982, in Stephenville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Ronda Monson of Stephenville, Texas; two children, Jennifer Kurz of California and Micah and husband, David Schmidt of Abilene, Texas; four grandchildren, Reille Schmidt, Kai Schmidt, Kaelyn Schmidt, and Caden Kurz; one brother, Joe Paul Monson; and one sister, Janet Prather.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Baasch and parents Billie Dean Monson and Sara Lenora (Moorehead) Monson.
