Terry George Childers

Funeral services for Terry George Childers, 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at East End Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home. Terry was born in Amarillo, Texas, on March 8, 1948, to Leta (Dodson) and Phillip Childers, Jr. He married Linda (Billings) Childers on June 26, 1992, in Dumas, Texas. Terry worked in Animal Health, then went to work in realty at Hayden Real Estate. Terry was also a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Childers of Stephenville, Texas; two children, Brandi Hammer and husband, Clinton, of Sunray, Texas, and Kasi Moeskau and husband, Brian, of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Colton Hammer, Kaitlyn Stone and husband, Trenton, and Cora Moeskau; a great grandchild, Raelynn Stone; a brother, Phillip Childers, III, of Bedford, Texas; and a sister, Sherry Hayduk of Factoryville, Pennsylvania. Memorials may be made to Texas Make a Wish Foundation or The Gideons International.
