William Edgar Bettis

Lipan, Texas –Funeral services for William E. Bettis, fifty-two, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 29, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Nowak officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home.

William was born in San Antonio, Texas, on November 8, 1965, to Leonard William Bettis, Jr., and wife, Lois Laverne (Asbury).  He married Jeannie (Oakley) Bettis on January 28, 1986, in Stanton, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Bettis of Lipan, Texas; parents Leonard William Bettis, Jr., and wife, Lois Laverne (Asbury) of Pleasanton, Texas; two children, Skyler Bettis of Strawn, Texas, and Felicia Stanley and husband, D.C., of Weatherford, Texas; two grandchildren, Kiana Bettis and Carson Stanley; a sister, Michele Leal of Jourdanton, Texas; a brother, Timothy Bettis and wife, Tina, of Plainview, Texas; grandmother, Adell Asbury; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
