Adolfo Mendoza

Services for Adolfo Mendoza Sr., 64, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood with Father Anthony Franco officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville at 3 p.m. with  A private rosary will be held for the family on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 6 p.m. with a public rosary the following evening on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 6 p.m. both at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.

Adolfo was born in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico on January 21, 1959, to parents Abraham Mendoza Duran and Paula Munoz Romero. He married Antonia Torres on June 18, 2017. Adolfo was a member of the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Antonia; children, Andres Mendoza and wife, Dariela; Silvia Mendoza from San Antonio, Texas; Sylvia Mendoza from Dallas, Texas; Deborah Mendoza and husband, Martin Lopez; Daisy Mendoza and husband, Steven Ibarra; and Adolfo Mendoza, Jr. and wife, Lydia; brothers and sisters, Victor Mendoza; Rafael Mendoza; Guadalupe Delgado; Sandra Leal and husband, Eulalio Leal; Sylvia Mendoza; Margarita Zuniga; and Lorena Pruett; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andres Torres; Maria Perez; Teodulo Torres; Uvaldo Torres; Rosa Torres; Cruz Torres; and Juan Torres; 16 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Mendoza Duran and Paula Munoz Romero; by his brother, Isidro A. Mendoza; sisters Raquel Ramirez and Maria Contreras; and his granddaughter, Dariana Rodriguez.
