Alberto Sanchez Lopez passed away on June 2, 2026, in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was born on April 23, 1939, in El Tigre, Mexico, to Pomposo Sanchez and Modesta Lopez.
Alberto was a member of El Roble Church. He was a steadfast man of God who read his Bible every single day. He loved coffee, watching the Astros play, gardening, staying busy with work, farming, and spending time with his beloved family.
Alberto called on the name of Jesus to be his lord and savior at a young age. This allowed him and his late wife Socorro, to raise their children in the admonition of the Lord.Anytime Alberto would testify to others about walking with Jesus, he made sure to mention that all his children, grandchildren, and now great grandchildren love and follow Jesus too. He encouraged MANY people to open their hearts to Jesus and confess Him as their Lord and Savior.
Proverbs 20:7 New King James Version - 7:"The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him."
Alberto married Emma (Cabano) Sanchez on May 3, 2009, in De Queen, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Emma Sanchez, 5 children: Rigoberto Sanchez and wife Teresa, Antonio Sanchez and wife Judith, Juana Villa, Judith Sanchez, and Elizabeth Sanchez; 5 stepchildren: Tammy, Debbie, Laura, Elbie, and Anthony; 12 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
