Graveside Services for Annette Marie Burns, 67, a retired dedicated nurse and loving mother, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at West End Cemetery with Rev Werth Mayes officiating.
Annette was born in Hammond, Indiana, on May 18, 1958, to Robert David and Janice Anita (Hanes) Curtis. She married Charles Michael Burns on October 14, 1978, in Stephenville, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2011.
Annette was a Christian. She loved gardening, bird watching, genealogy, and going to concerts, especially The Monkees and Josh Groban.
Survivors include her son, James Burns and wife, Kourtney, of Wolfe City, Texas; daughter, Sarah Wallace and husband, Jeremy, of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Nathan Wallace and Emmalee Burns; sisters, Sherry Sims of Stephenville, Texas, and Tricia Wortley of Stephenville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband, and her sister, Chris Curtis.
