Services for Beulah May (Moffett) Hayes will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at the Erath Gardens of Memory cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.
Beulah May (Moffett) Hayes, 76, was born on August 28, 1948, in Portales, New Mexico. She passed away on September 6, 2024, in Waco, Texas.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Lee and Sadie Densman Moffett; brothers, A.J., Jimmy, Billy, Leonard Moffett, Jerry, J.C., Robert, and John Ed Bennett; sisters, Evelyn Barron, Betty Sell, Mary Helen Shelton, Artie Smith, and Joan Odom; grandchildren, Johnny McCoy, Anthony McCoy, Bonnie and Haven Weir.
Beulah is survived by her son, Joe Cehand, Jr., and wife, Brandie; daughter, Brenda McCoy and husband, Tony; daughter, Debora Willis and husband, Robby; son, Randy Cehand and wife, Melissa; son, Bobby Cehand and wife, Doris; son, Gary Cehand; son, James Cehand and wife, Jessie; 22 grandkids; 41 great-grandkids; best friend, Quana; Terry her dog; and many nieces and nephews.
Beulah was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her 7 kids and spending time with her grandkids. She loved country music.
