Beverly Ann Jones

Born October 21st, 1941, went to be with Our Lord and Savior June 12th, 2023.

Bev’s story began with the greatest love of her life, Harry Jones. They spent most of their lives in rodeo, traveling far and wide competing together.

Every person that crossed her path was always blessed in one way or another.

Bev lived a glorious life, right until her last day on this Earth.

Bev was the NOTRA National Queen 1990-1992.

She was the NOTRA Ribbon Roping Champion with her beloved husband in 1990.

She was also a Wrangler Representative for 5 years.

Bev was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County. She loved her church family.

BJ and Harry lived a true fairytale life filled with joy, adventure and happiness.

Even though there is a huge hole left in each of our lives, there are Angels rejoicing in heaven, dancing in celebration.

Bev is survived by her loving husband Harry Jones, her brother Jody Nix of Big Spring TX, her brother Larry and wife Bobby Nix of Big Spring, TX, her sister Robin of Big Spring, TX, her daughter, Angela and husband Chris Suttle of Ruidoso, NM, her son Darren Lackey and wife Sarah of Michigan, her daughter Sally Kay Dyer and husband Trey of Baird, TX. Her Grandchildren Kaden and his wife Madison Suttle of Lubbock. Rylan Suttle of Lubbock, Weslee Ann Suttle of Ruidoso, Joshua Dyer of Baird, TX and Kelsey Strickland of Albany.

She’s also survived by her great grandchildren Beckham Dyer, and future Great Granddaughter Saylor Suttle.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hoyle and Lee Nix, her uncle Ben Nix, a sister Hoyleen Nix, and a daughter, Kim Jones.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 17th @ 10:00am at Cowboy Church of Erath County.
