Beverly Ann (Fitch) Gifford, 92, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Stephenville, TX. Services for Beverly will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel.
Beverly was born in Ft. Worth, TX on April 30, 1932, to her parents Jack C. Fitch and Mable L. (Rowland) Fitch. She married Morris “Moss” Gifford on August 7, 1953 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death June 30, 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Stephenville, as well as the American Legion.
She was the founder of Gifford TV & Electronics, and she was also the director of Cradle Roll & Church Nursery for over 20 years. Beverly wanted to be in any place that she could serve her Lord, such as Grace Place, WMU Bereavement, and deliver meals on Christmas Day. She was involved in all her children’s sports, and she loved playing solitaire.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Gifford and wife Linda of Stephenville, Texas, Carroll Gifford and wife Melanie of Granbury, Texas, Howard Gifford and wife Lou Ann of Comanche, Texas, Karen Kientz and husband Gary of Coatesville, Indiana, and Tracy Gifford and wife Suzy of Stephenville, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
