Billye Kathryn "Kitten" Thomas

Billye Kathryn “Kitten” Thomas, 81, went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2024. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at the Morgan Mill Baptist Church with Richard Nachtigall officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Morgan Mill Baptist Church.

Kathy was born in Stephenville, Texas, on October 5, 1942, to L. A. and Bobbie (Cantrell) Fears. She married Jack Darwin Thomas on August 17, 1963, in Morgan Mill, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2003.

Kathy was in computer sales and marketing, working for Zenith and MAICorp. She won several trips from her work. Her favorite trip was to Caracas. Kathy “Kitten” loved to paint using oils. Her favorite subject was landscapes. She collected “stuff,” mementos from trips and bottles, lots of bottles. She had even started a collection of Beanie Babies. She was a member of the Carrollton Baptist church.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Rasberry and husband, Arnold, of Stephenville, Texas; brother, Richard Nachtigall and wife, Teresa, of Morgan Mill, Texas; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack D. Thomas, and her son, Kerry Shawn Thomas.
