Bobby Gayle Ables

Services for Bobby Gayle Ables, age 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Michael Ables and Joshua Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Bobby was born in Stephenville, Texas, on March 22, 1946, to parents Elmer Ray Ables and Lizzie Eunice (Hillhouse) Ables.

Bobby was a Christian and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a machinist by trade. Bobby enjoyed religious studies and singing. In his spare time he also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his children, Michael Ables and wife, Kelly of Stephenville, Texas, and Suzanne Foreman and husband, Danny of Grand Prairie, Texas; grandchildren, Tiffany, Caitlin, Morgan, Paxton, Joshua, Kaymee, Jacob, Hailey and Genie; brothers, Harold Ables and wife Paula of Green Valley, Arizona, and Bill Ables and wife, Martha of Stephenville, Texas.

Bobby was preceded in death by one grandson, Stephen; and brothers, Jackie Lynn Ables, and Kenneth Ables.
