Celestino Martinez

A visitation and rosary will be held for Celestino Martinez at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home with Father Matthew Sanka officiating. Celestino passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in Killeen, Texas, at the age of 75. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Celestino was born in Lampasas, Texas, on April 6, 1949, to Cipriano Martinez and Paula (Dela Cruz) Martinez.

Celestino was a devout Catholic. He worked at Rayloc – NAPA Auto Parts manufacturing plant. In his spare time, Celestino could be found riding motorcycles, fishing, or playing baseball. He also enjoyed traveling and shopping at flea markets. Most of all, Celestino loved spending time with his family and his animals. 

Survived by his siblings, Domingo Martinez and wife, Mottie of Fresno, California, Jesse Martinez and wife, Mary of Stephenville, Texas, Adela Silva and husband, Magdaleno of Stephenville, Texas, Teodora Martinez of Brenham, Texas.                     

Preceded in death by one brother, David Martinez.
