Cynthia Lou Rolland

Cynthia Lou Rolland, age 67, of Stephenville, Texas, passed from this life on February 6, 2026, surrounded by her family.

  Cynthia was born on December 16, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Earl Eugene Clegg and Lila Agnes Thompson Clegg. Raised with a deep faith, Cynthia’s life was a testament to love, service, and family.

   On August 13, 1977, she married Bruce Lee Rolland in Hubbard, Ohio, and their bond of love endured until his passing on June 6, 2010.

   Cynthia devoted her life to being a loving homemaker and was a faithful member of Elk Ridge Baptist Church. She found joy in simple pleasures: watching Hallmark movies, writing, singing, baking, and above all, caring for her family.

   She is survived by her children: Tia Michelle Rolland of Stephenville, Texas, and Dana and her husband Greg Koelln of De Leon, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Elisabeth Rolland, Sean Rolland, Lily Koelln, and Xander Koelln. Cynthia’s sisters, Carol Lovas of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Debra Fidram of Warren, Ohio, also survive her, along with several extended family members and dear friends.

  Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Lee Rolland; her parents, Earl and Lila Clegg; and her brothers, Robert Clegg, George Clegg, and Terry (Clegg) Silvis.

We take comfort in the knowledge that Cynthia’s faith has brought her into the eternal peace of her Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
