Daisy (Davis) Black

A Graveside service for Daisy Black, 84, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 1, 2021, at Proctor Cemetery with Rev. Robert Whitefield officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 1, 2021, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Daisy was born in Robert Lee, Texas on August 8, 1937, to Granville and Sidney (Smith) Davis. She married “Sonny” Black on August 7, 1954. He preceded her in death on February 14,2013.

Daisy was a member of Proctor Baptist Church.

Daisy is survived by her children, Sylena Taylor, of Hamilton, Texas, Bo Black and wife, Linda, of Burleson, Texas, Molly Hocutt and husband, David, of Corsicana, Texas, and Randy Scott Black, of Stephenville, Texas; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. Daisy was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Ann Joslin.
