Danny Guy Wood, Sr.

A Graveside service for Danny Guy Wood, Sr., 78, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Morgan Mill Cemetery with Rev. Weldon Branham officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Lacy Funeral Home.

Danny was born in Stephenville on April 3, 1943 to Doyle and Bonnie Wood.  He married Lynda Drinnon on August 9, 1963 in Houston, Texas.

Danny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lynda Wood; children, Kelly and Randal Bailey, Danny, Jr. and Shree Wood, Tracy and Marlin Daugherty, and Micheal Wood; grandchildren, Nicole and Ralph Harwell, Ashley and Matthew Fuston, Brody and Amanda Wood, Cannon Miller, Jenna Wood, Sienna Wood, and Anyaa Thibodeaux; great grandchildren, Kayden, Austin, Braylee, Gracie, Noah, Ronan, Hattie, and Ella; sister, Ann Wood; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Bonnie Wood; and siblings, Clifton Wood, Bonnie Dean Rodgers, and Micheal Wood.
